BBC Philosophy
We believe Jesus Christ as the Messiah, the Word who became
flesh ad dwelt among us. (John 1:1-4) We believe that He
came to destroy the works of Satan, (1 John 3:8) that He
disarmed the rulers and authorities and made a public
display of them, having triumphed over them. (Colossians
2:15)
We believe that God through the Holy Spirit sent His Son,
Jesus Christ, our Lord, to die for the atonement of our
sins. He alone bore our sins. We believe that He was
crucified, died, and rose again.
We Believe that He offer eternal life as a free gift that is
accepted through faith.
We choose to be strong in the Lord and the strength of his
might. (Ephesians 6:10) We put no confidence in the flesh
(Philippians 3:3) for the weapons of warfare are not of the
flesh. (2 Corinthians 10:4) We put on the whole armor of God
(Ephesians 6:10-20) and we resolve to stand firm in our
faith and resist the evil one.
